Welcome to Staff Development

The following information will help you prepare for our two days together.

We will start each day in the Rocklin Conference Center Room B174 (main campus).
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am each day and we begin at 8:30 am.

Both days will be in person. There will be a zoom link available for the general sessions each day for those individuals who need to join from a distance. 

If you need accommodations or have dietary requests for breakfast, please contact Jackie Plendl jackie.plendl@witcc.edu.

In addition to the sessions planned for you to attend, the following are options during the breakout sessions on Wednesday, October 15.

  • Plan Your Own is available to use during one session time. Please submit the form to your supervisor for approval by Friday, October 10.
  • The following required training courses in Vector Solutions will be assigned to all regular full time and part time employees, and a link will be sent to your WITCC email.
    • Title IX and Sexual Harassment Prevention. 
    • Hazing Awareness and Prevention.
    • Cybersecurity Awareness For Educational Institutions (End-User Best Practices and Social Engineering)

The wonderful offering of sessions would not be possible without many of our colleagues who are presenting and sharing their knowledge, skills, time, and talent; our community members and partners; and the staff development committee who recruited for and planned this event.
